This is one I did for a quote challenge on Elemental Scraps. The picture was taken by my friend Amy over the summer while we were at Sainte Anne's. The kit is Dream Believe Achieve by Faith True and Kelli Martin.

You were so excited the last few days that were leading up to Christmas Day. We sang Christmas songs, such as Santa Claus is Coming to Town, except that we would sing "Santa Claus is coming to LYDIA'S HOUSE!!!" You knew exactly who Santa Claus was, whenever you saw him on TV or in a book you would point excitedly and say "That's Santa Claus". A few
weeks before Christmas, I gave you a couple of Kids Christmas CDs and we would listen and sing along. The day that we put up the tree, you were awe struck with the wonder and delight that only a child can experience. It held your attention as you learned the names of the different ornaments and their colours. Through your eyes, I saw Christmas with the same magical wonderment and amazement that you did. I wish that I could hold you in this moment of time forever, that you would never loose that childhood innocence of wonder and magic that awakens in us all at Christmas, both for the young and the young at heart.
